Nammadus Resort
About
Nammadus Resort unfolds as a linear procession of stone-clad cottages along a bluff above the Narmada, each unit's roof and end-wall folding into an angular, faceted plane that steps back from the river edge in direct response to seasonal flood levels. Rubble stone facades in warm ochre tones ground the cottages against the landscape, while full-height glazing and deep verandas open every room toward the water, dissolving the line between interior and riverfront. Inside, the same rough stone is drawn through as a feature wall behind timber-panelled beds, paired with a dark wood-slat ceiling, terrazzo-toned flooring, and locally crafted furniture — a material palette that carries the exterior's climatic logic into a quieter, tactile guest experience.
