Hotel at Betma takes the form of a faceted, saw-tooth massing — a rhythm of angled precast fins and recessed glazed bays that reads as a sequence of folded planes along the street elevation. A deep cantilevered porte-cochère in board-formed concrete, fronted by a still reflecting pool and bamboo screening, sets up the arrival sequence and carries into a lobby of dark veined marble, brass detailing, and planted light-wells that puncture the guest corridors above. Conceived at proposal stage for a hospitality program of guest rooms, banquet hall, and pre-function space, the design pairs a restrained material palette with controlled daylighting to mediate the site's climate and street presence.
